Public transport changed!
Nog een laatste update voor zaterdag. Het belooft een mooie dag te worden, met meer dan 50 aanmeldingen waaronder veel coders, een boottocht door de havens van IJmuiden, eten en drinken, een GIS data workshop. En veel ruimte om geweldige apps te maken.

20:00 Terugvaart richting de Kop van de Haven in IJmuiden (en aansluitend de bus naar het Pontplein in Velsen-Zuid).
Doorlopend: ideeën en dataverzoeken in de coffeecorner.
Wil je eerder terug naar de Kop van de Haven, dat kan. Op het hele uur gaat er bij animo een boot terug naar het vasteland.
Bereikbaarheid
Auto
Je kunt op de Kop van de Haven, in IJmuiden gratis parkeren. Houd er rekening mee dat de IJmuidense havendagen plaatsvinden, waardoor het lokaal drukker kan zijn en de reistijd dus iets langer uitvalt. De boot vertrekt stipt om 10:15. Het adres van de Kop van de Haven is Sluisplein 80, IJmuiden.

OV
Kom je met het OV dan kun je of vanuit IJmuiden lopen richting de Kop van de Haven (20 minuten) of met het OV naar het Pontplein in Velsen-Zuid komen. Vanaf Pontplein zal om 10:00 een door ons gecharterde bus vertrekken naar de Kop van de Haven..
OV Amsterdam
The Fast Flying Ferry does not run on Saturday at 9:30AM. Therefore we will arrange alternative transport. At 9:30AM sharp a bus by ‘Jan de Wit’ will leave at the Victoria Hotel (Stationsplein), in front of Amsterdam Central Station (CS).
After the event the Fast Flying Ferry does run, the chartered bus will bring us from the ‘Kop van de Haven’ to the Pontplein where we can change onto the Fast Flying Ferry to Amsterdam CS.

If you would like to leave the island before 8pm there are opportunities every hour.
Getting there
Car
There is free parking at the ‘Kop van de Haven,’ in IJmuiden, the address is Sluisplein 80, IJmuiden. Traveltime might be a bit longer due to the harbourdays which take place in IJmuiden. The boat leaves exactly at 10:15 am.
Public Transport
From the Pontplein Velsen Zuid at 10AM there’s a chartered bus ready for you to take you to the Kop van de Haven IJmuiden.
